MUMBAI: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi again on Thursday, asking “the length of time will he (PM) continue to tell lies” to the country.Addressing a rally after getting a huge procession to Churchgate to demand better facilities for Mumbai commuters after recently’s stampede killed 23 commuters, Thackeray stated the nation was being pressed into crises on all fronts, brought about by the Bharatiya Janata Party federal government.
“Modi has been lying and misleading individuals of this country. Now I realize that when I visited Gujarat a couple of years ago at the behest of (industrialist) Ratan Tata when Modi was the CM, I was shown a misleading picture of the development there,” Thackeray said to cheers. He reiterated that individuals of the nation had despaired in Modi, who “just keeps offering speeches daily – what does it cost? is he going to speak?”
Thackeray asked the individuals to speak up versus the government. The MNS chief stated unless the commuters of Mumbai were offered much better amenities and facilities, the celebration’s next agitation”would not be a peaceful one “.
