Pro-Pak slogans at army-sponsored cricket match

BUDGAM: The closing of the final match of the army-sponsored cricket competition being played at the Aga Syed Ali Memorial Cricket Stadium, Budgam, was interrupted on Saturday by pro-Pakistan, pro-freedom and pro-Zakir Musa mottos raised in the existence of cops authorities by youths in the audience.
A 17-second video, extensively circulated on social media, shows that the players and the crowd raised slogans in assistance of Pakistan and Zakir Musa after the conclusion of the match.
The cricket competition under the name of the Kashmir Guide League was organised by 53-Rashtriya Rifles in Budgam town. Its final match was played between the Budgam and Ompora teams and was won by Ompora.
Sources stated that during the award event of the last match, scores of youth raised pro-Zakir and pro-Pakistan slogans.
Authorities sources said that it was only an event and absolutely nothing else. “No such slogans were raised by any youth. They celebrated the success after the conclusion of match,” officials said.
This is the 2nd event in a week where the mottos were chanted in the existence of police and army officials.
Previously today in Kunzer Cricket Ground, pro-freedom mottos were likewise raised, in addition to mottos in favour of Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi when previous Indian captain, MS Dhoni, was on the field.
