Sonia Gandhi: Need to work together: Sonia Gandhi to opposition parties on joint strategy in Parliament

NEW DELHI: UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi today advised the opposition celebrations to embrace a typical method to handle the BJP and interact on problems of nationwide value, reported ANI.” Need to interact on concerns of national value, embrace common strategy both inside and outside Parliament,” said Sonia Gandhi.

The UPA chairperson’s comment came during a meeting of opposition leaders to prepare a joint technique for the continuous Budget Session of Parliament.

The meeting, held at the Parliament Library Structure, is seen as part of efforts to galvanise assistance of all 17 parties which had come together throughout the governmental and vice presidential polls versus the ruling celebration.

Senior Ghulam Nabi Azad, who was one of the attendees of the conference, dismissed speculations that the conference was a precursor to UPA-III, saying there is just a broad agreement amongst the non-NDA parties to oust the present federal government.

Azad stated that Gandhi warned the opposition leaders against the ideology of hate and common and caste violence.

Gandhi also raised the problem of “Aadhaar abuse” by the Narendra Modi government to “breach” personal privacy of residents. She stated Aadhaar was suggested for well-being schemes however is being misused by the government.

“She also raised the issue of financial health of the nation, which she said, remained precarious.

“Another point she raised was that of joblessness which refers great concern for the whole country and the federal government is not doing anything in this regard,” Azad stated.

Gandhi said the rate increase of the necessary commodities in general and of fuel, diesel and gas in particular is another matter of great concern for the nation.

Azad stated that Congress President Rahul Gandhi Worried that although in various states various celebrations are in power or in opposition and is a clash of interests is bound to be there, but “when the states problem would emerge then we would discover a service to that”.

“However as an opposition we are entire then those who are not in NDA, that implies those who do not follow the NDA’s ideology and they would want that the federal government ought to head out. And for that we shall interact,” Azad reported Rahul Gandhi as stating.

Azad stated a group of 7 celebrations has already been formed and it would decide the future course of action.
